  • Adcock was picked in the England tour of Europe in May 1929. He played in all three games plus the two autumn Home Championship games where he netted in his last match; a 6-0 win against Wales. He lost his place to the Derby outside right Sammy Crooks who held the position for the next six years. Cousin of England player Joe Bradford.
