  • Morocco's first match was a 3-3 draw against Iraq in 1957. They have qualified for only four World Cups, the last being in 1998. Their best result was the second round in 1986 where they were beaten 1-0 by West Germany. They have won the African Cup of Nations once in 1976 and were runners-up in 2004. Since then they have struggled to get beyond the group stage.
England have played Morocco twice. Once in the World Cup group stage in 1986 and the other was in the King Hassan II Tournament prior to the 1998 World Cup.
