  • Frank was born sometime in summer 1882 and had a youth career at Hyde FC & Glossop. Joined Stockport County in 1901 and Manchester City in April 1902 for four seasons. January 1907 he moved to Bury and then north of the border to Clyde in June 1909 before returning to Manchester City in July 1911 where he retired at the end of the season. FA Cup winner in 1904 (City) and Scottish Cup finalist in 1910 (Clyde). Died of an inoperable heart tumour in June 1919.
