Jimmy Sayer (7th September 1862 - 1st February 1922) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Ireland on 5th February 1887 at the age of 24. Sayer, born on 7th September 1862, in Rotherham, Yorkshire, has a FA Legacy Number of 138 and played as a Outside Right for his country.

Jimmy played originally with Mexborough FC before a transfer to Sheffield Heeley in 1881. There onto Wednesday in 1884 for a season before joining Stoke where he stayed for five seasons. He finished where he started back at Mexborough in May 1890 where he retired through injury in April 1894. He was a secretary and director of a Stoke Pottery firm, Fielding Limited.
