Notes:
Jimmy played originally with Mexborough FC before a transfer to Sheffield Heeley in 1881. There onto Wednesday in 1884 for a season before joining Stoke where he stayed for five seasons. He finished where he started back at Mexborough in May 1890 where he retired through injury in April 1894. He was a secretary and director of a Stoke Pottery firm, Fielding Limited.
