Alfred Goodwyn (13th March 1850 - 14th March 1874) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Scotland on 8th March 1873 at the age of 22. Goodwyn, born on 13th March 1850, in Roorkie, Bengal, India, has a FA Legacy Number of 14 and played as a Half Back for his country.

Goodwyn joined the Royal Engineers in August 1871 and played regualrly for his regiment including an FA Cup final appearance in 1872. He played in the early rounds of the FA Cup in 1873 before being posted to India in January 1874. He fell from his horse the day before his 24th birthday and died two days later from his injuries. It was the same day his Royal Engineers team-mates contested the 1874 Cup Final.
