Ernest Bambridge (16th May 1848 - 16th October 1917) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Scotland on 4th March 1876 at the age of 27. Bambridge, born on 16th May 1848, in Windsor, has a FA Legacy Number of 37 and played as a Half Back for his country.

One of five footballing brothers, three of whom won England caps. Their father was William Samuel Bambridge who was a schoolmaster at Eton, missionary to New Zealand and most famously Royal Photographer to Queen Victoria. One of the brothers, George, was personal secretary to the Duke of Edinburgh.
Ernest Henry represented Swifts East Sheen and Corinthians. He, like his brother Charlie, served on the FA Committee 1876-82 and was one of the original Corithinan's committee in 1882. He was a member of the London Stock Exchange.
