Fred Green (21st June 1851 - 6th July 1928) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Scotland on 4th March 1876 at the age of 24. Green, born on 21st June 1851, in Wrexham, has a FA Legacy Number of 35 and played as a Full Back for his country.

Green went to Winchester college where he played cricket and football before studying at New College, Oxford, graduating in 1874. A FA Cup winner with Oxford University (1874) and twice with Wanderers (1877 & 1878). A barrister by profession, he was called to the bar at Inner Temple in 1877 and Inspector of Schools in 1880.
