Cecil Wingfield-Stratford (7th October 1853 - 5th February 1939) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Scotland on 3rd March 1877 at the age of 23. Wingfield-Stratford, born on 7th October 1853, in Addington, Kent, has a FA Legacy Number of 47 and played as a Forward for his country.
Notes:
Joined the Royal Engineers in October 1873 and eventually became chief engineer in Ireland for four years from 1906 before retiring. He re-enlisted in 1914 for World War I and was involved at the Battle of Loos in 1915, the first day of the Somme in 1916 and commanded the 46th Division when it broke the Hindenburg Line in 1918.
