John Wylie (5th October 1854 - 30th July 1924) was an international footballer who represented England 1 time scoring 0 goals. His only cap was against Scotland on 2nd March 1878 at the age of 23. Wylie, born on 5th October 1854, in Shrewsbury, has a FA Legacy Number of 56 and played as a Forward for his country.
Notes:
Originally selected to play in the 1874 Scotland game, he became unavailable and had to wait another four years to be capped. After winning his first cap in 1878 he became a FA Cup winner with Wanderers the same year. He also reprsented Sheffield and Shropshire Wanderers. A solicitor by trade.
