Notes:
Originally selected to play in the 1874 Scotland game, he became unavailable and had to wait another four years to be capped. After winning his first cap in 1878 he became a FA Cup winner with Wanderers the same year. He also reprsented Sheffield and Shropshire Wanderers. A solicitor by trade.
