- Kenyon-Slaney played for Oxford University, Old Etonians and Wanderers and was a FA Cup winner with the latter in 1873. He played cricket for the MCC and Shropshire, served in the Grenadier Guards fro 1967-88 and was MP For Newport Salop 1886-1908.
