- Kenyon-Slaney played for Oxford University, Old Etonians and Wanderers and was a FA Cup winner with the latter in 1873. He played cricket for the MCC and Shropshire, served in the Grenadier Guards from 1867 to 1888 and was MP For Newport Salop 1886-1908.
