Notes:
Served with the Royal Engineers from 1872-1909 and a FA Cup winner with them in 1875. Together with his brother William Rawson, they became the first brothers to play an international match together against Scotland in 1875. Kept wicket in one first class cricket match for Kent in 1873.Later a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Vice–President of the Royal Meteorological Society.
