Lieutenant-Colonel Pelham George von Donop

Died: 7th November 1921, South Kensington, London aged 70

- von Donop enlisted with the Royal Engineers in 1871 and served until 1899 rising to the rank of Leiutenant-Colonel. After his military career he became an Inspector of Railways from 1899-1913 and Chief Inspecting Officer 1913-16. A FA Cup winner in 1875. Godfather of Sir P.G. Wodehouse who was given his first name.
